5th Annual 5K Walk/Run to benefit Eastern Shore Rabbit Rescue
Hop into spring! Join Eastern Shore Rabbit Rescue and Education Center for the fifth annual 5K Bun Run. We will have an in-person organized event in Rock Hall, MD (a small town on the Chesapeake Bay) on April 19, 2025 and a virtual option that you can do anywhere, anytime. Either way, you can choose your own pace – walk or run!
Our 5K route for the in-person event will take participants past the harbor and the beach, with scenic views of the Chesapeake Bay and Swan Creek. Funds raised will go toward veterinary expenses and other operational expenses. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for updates!
Registration fee:
$30 per person “Early Bun” rate
$35 regular price starting March 19
$40 on April 19 for same-day registrants

Each Bun Run registrant (virtual and in person) will receive a Bun Run bag.
Virtual Bun Run Participants – post your results by April 30 to enter a prize drawing for a $100 Amazon Gift Card!
Our official Bun Run t-shirt is an optional purchase not included in registration. If you register before March 19, the t-shirt can be added to your registration for $10. If you register between March 19-April 19, the price of the t-shirt will be $12. On the day of the event, the price of the t-shirt is $15 and will depend on size availability. T-shirts will be distributed to in-person registrants in Rock Hall upon check-in. T-shirts for virtual registrants will be shipped the week of April 14, if registered by April 6. You can pre-order a t-shirt without registering for Bun Run for $15 (plus $5 shipping if applicable).
Medals for Top Bun Runners in 4 categories for the in-person 5K: Adult Male, Adult Female, Youth Male, and Youth Female (NOTE: youth category is for anyone age 18 years and under on the day of the Bun Run)
In addition, each category winner will receive a free race entry and spectator pass for Savage Race. This year the Savage Race & Savage Blitz Maryland Spring 2025 will be held May 10 and Savage Race & Savage Blitz Maryland Fall 2025 on September 6, both in Kennedyville, MD.
